Children and adolescents with ADHD in transition between children’s services and adult services (CATCh-uS)

Published Date: 28 Nov 2018

This project focuses on what happens to young people with Attentions Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) when they are too old to stay within children’s services that support them. Adults who have ADHS may experience difficultly with management, organisational skills, goal setting, relationships and self-esteem. It is therefore important there is effective support for these individuals as they journey into adulthood.

Whilst this is important, little is known about the transition phase, the services and who should receive support. The aim of the project is to examine this, and also create a map of services in the country. You can find out how they are doing this here.
