What we have found

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is effective for the treatment of anxiety and depression. However, there is some reluctance to accept face-to-face therapy.

• Remote delivery of psychological treatment over the telephone or the internet has been found to be effective in engaging patients with mental health problems, where anxiety or stigma may cause reluctance to access mental health services face-to-face.
